Swiftaid is working on enabling automated Gift Aid across all methods of donation.
Currently, contactless donations and online donations are supported on the Swiftaid system. Soon, Swiftaid will support SMS, and Direct Debit too!
For a donation to have Gift Aid added to it using Swiftaid, the following points must be fulfilled.

Donations must be made by eligible UK taxpayers that have signed up and donated with an identifier (such as a payment card or email address) they have previously linked to Swiftaid.

The charity receiving the donation must be registered with HMRC, have signed up with Swiftaid, and linked their donation source.
